ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER, DANIEL MARR & SON COMPANY
Summary: Daniel Marr & Son Company is seeking a full time Assistant Project Manager, responsible for assisting project manager in preparing and maintaining project documents, attending project meetings, and assisting in the day to day management for several Structural Steel and Misc. Metals projects.
Qualification / Requirements: Educational and experience requirements include: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering. Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail. Computer competency including Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, Bluebeam, AutoCad, etc.
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT, MARR SCAFFOLDING COMPANY
Summary: Marr Scaffolding Company is looking to fill the position of Senior Accountant. This position is responsible for preparation and generation of various monthly reports including bank statement reconciliation, monthly sales tax, general ledger closing, etc. Includes responsibility for account analysis of critical balance sheet accounts as well as identifying, investigating and correcting all variances.
Qualification / Requirements: Requires an Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Finance with 2-3 years’ experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and financial software packages a must, preferably Sage. Construction company experience a plus.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, MARR SCAFFOLDING COMPANY
Summary: Marr Scaffolding Company is currently seeking a full time, professional Administrative Assistant, reporting to the President. Requires coordination of meetings, special events, calendar, file maintenance, correspondence, and a wide variety of administrative duties.
Qualification / Requirements: A minimum of three years’ experience in a high visibility, professional position. Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency are a must. Familiarity with contracts is a plus. Attention to detail and multi-tasking necessary. Associates degree preferred.
E&D (ERECTION & DISMANTLE) COORDINATOR, MARR SCAFFOLDING COMPANY
Summary: Marr Scaffolding Company is seeking an E&D Coordinator. The position is responsible for coordination of day-to-day assignments of scaffolding erection and dismantle crews with E&D foreman. Provides customer interface including quotes and scheduling jobs. Prepares daily assignment sheets, trucking, captures man-hours for payroll input and billing. Completes and tracks safety letters to customers upon completion of scaffold erection.
Qualifications / Requirements: Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of scaffolding products a huge plus.
EQUIPMENT & FACILITIES OFFICE ASSISTANT, MARR SCAFFOLDING COMPANY
Summary: Marr Scaffolding Company is seeking an Office Assistant within Marr’s Facilities Department. This position entails orderly and timely input, upkeep, recording and filing of all incoming paperwork including vehicle master files, work orders, etc. Responsibilities also include operation of a company vehicle for the purpose of trips to the RMV, body shop, and various other locations.
Qualifications / Requirements: This position requires familiarity with data entry, filing and general office procedures. A clean driving record is a MUST. Must be comfortable driving in and around the city of Boston.
SERVICE MANAGER, MARR SCAFFOLDING COMPANY
Summary: Marr Scaffolding Company is seeking an energetic, committed and detail-oriented person to join our Boston facility with this rare career opportunity.
Qualifications / Requirements: Strong organizational skills in scheduling both shop and field personnel are required. Service writing experience is a plus. Mechanical knowledge is a must, preferably automotive, knowledge of similar equipment repair and maintenance is ideal. Candidate must possess knowledge of Microsoft Office.
AUTO BODY PAINTER, MARR SCAFFOLDING COMPANY
Summary: Marr Scaffolding Company is seeking an experienced auto body painter. Immediate opening for a lead person to take charge of a busy shop. Job involves refurbishing of aerial lift equipment, spray painting and general physical maintenance.
Qualifications / Requirements: Auto body experience a must. Mechanical background helpful.
